What is the Meal Ministry?

The Meal Ministry at HHPC was created to serve our church community by providing home-cooked meals to those in times of need. We believe that Gospel-driven communities are spaces where the entire community is cared for in every stage of life for the purpose of bearing Spirit-empowered witnesses to the love of God. As we serve the needs of those who are battling an illness, welcoming a new baby, grieving a loss, or living alone, home-cooked meals provide a tangible and intentional expression of love.

Through the simple preparation of meals, we strive to embody our faith and offer the hope of Christ to our neighbors in word and in deed.

How can I get involved?

We have opportunities for men, women, students, and children to come together in our Meal Ministry to meet the needs of our church family. There are many ways to serve and you don’t even need to know how to slice, dice, or chop a thing. Check below for our current needs!

Delivery of Freezer Meals

We would welcome anyone that would be interested in helping with deliveries! For more information, email Ellen Shore.

Meal Train Ministry

Are you interested in receiving our Meal Train emails? Meal Trains are an easy way to sign up for a day to provide a meal for a particular family in need. You can drop off a home-cooked dinner, deliver their favorite takeout, or a pick up a ready-made meal from the grocery store.

Each Meal Train includes delivery instructions, any special meal requests or dietary restrictions, and an easy signup schedule. By signing up for Meal Train emails, you’re not obligated to contribute, but you’ll receive notice each time someone needs a meal and you can choose when you’re able to help!
