Commissioning Service

On Sunday, January 18, we will gather as one church family for our final combined worship service as Hilton Head Presbyterian Church.

This Commissioning Service Worship Gathering will be held at Hilton Head Christian Academy, where we will launch our Bluffton Congregation.

This service will mark three significant milestones: (1) our formal transition to Christ Redeemer Presbyterian Church; (2) the commissioning of those stepping out in faith to form our new Bluffton congregation; (3) our becoming a multi-congregation church, who through her individual congregations will seek to multiply the worship, renewal and community of Jesus to the people of Bluffton and Hilton Head Island in a more targeted way.

We will worship together, receive the Lord’s Supper, and ask God to establish the work of our hands. We are excited that Rev. Mark Upton, Founding Pastor of Hope Community PCA in Charlotte, will be joining us as our guest preacher. Mark has helped us in our planning and development of our multiplication model, and we are grateful for his participation in our commissioning celebration. Following worship, we will share a catered meal to enjoy fellowship and celebrate the goodness of God.”

It will be a sacred day in the 43 year history of our church that you will not want to miss.

Please take a moment to sign-up here.

Pursue the Heart Workshop

Pursue the Heart Workshop

Real, lasting transformation comes through the renewal of our hearts. However, even if we know this, so often we don’t know how to engage our own hearts, much less engage the hearts of those around us. Our Pursue the Heart Workshop will equip you with the mindset and practical skills necessary to grow as a follower of Christ at heart level and to help others to do the same.

This class is a lot of fun, and incredibly relevant for all relationships - friendships, marriage, group leadership, and especially for discipleship relationships. We'll walk through both the theology and practice of how to use listening skills and question-asking skills to engage people in a way through which the Holy Spirit fosters heart transformation.

All are welcome. If you’re in a Community Group, Bible Study, or Journey Group, this is a great opportunity to grow together.

Dinner will be provided at 5:00 PM. Childcare reimbursements are available upon request.

Please R.S.V.P. by Sunday, March 2nd. Click here to R.S.V.P.
