While we will work on different vocal harmonies and dynamics, this choir is really just a sample of the congregation. The goal is to help engage the congregation to sing, so your demeanor, energy, and engagement is just as much as part of this choir as vocal ability, blending well, and dynamics.

If you can sing in key, are willing to prepare, and will bring a worshipful energy, you are invited to join! We ask for ages 16 and up, but we hope to have a multi-generational choir.

Our goal is to divide the total number of choir members into 3 groups that would serve on Easter Sunday for one service only.

Between now and Easter, we will meet once and rehearse twice:

Sunday, April 6th Choir kick-off. Please join us for 30 minutes in Ilderton Hall at 12:15p to hear the vision and be introduced to the songs.

Wednesday, April 9th All band & Choir Rehearsal. Please arrive in the Worship Center by 6:00pm. Rehearsal may last until 8:45pm or so.

Tuesday, April 15th All band & Choir Rehearsal. Please arrive in the Worship Center by 6:00pm. Rehearsal may last until 8:45pm or so. 

Sunday, April 20th, please be on site and ready 20 minutes before the start of each service (7:40/9:10/10:40). The 1st service will be at 8a. The other Sunday services are at 9:30a and 11a.

(If you have to miss any of the time commitments, please make a note on the registration form) 

This is an informal worship choir. Please wear what you’d normally wear on a Sunday. It’s Easter, of course, so if you normally take it up a notch, go for it!

We will post vocal parts for each song. You are welcome to sing melody, or you can choose a part that is within range. However, please note any dynamics (where you may sing, not sing, or sing loudly or quietly).

Once you join the choir, you’ll be sent an invitation from Planning Center, where you can view all song files, lyrics, etc!
