CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Our Children's Ministry is focused on introducing children to Jesus Christ. It is our goal to assist parents in raising children who know Christ as Savior from their earliest memories. We take seriously our vow to assist parents in "endeavoring to set before (him) a godly example, to pray with and for (him), to teach (him) the doctrines of our holy religion, and to strive, by all the means of God's appointment, to bring (him) up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord" (taken from the PCA baptism vows, PCA Book of Church Order, 56-5).
God has been blessing HHPC with growth among families with young children. We are striving to minister to these families in every way possible.
We offer Children's Sunday School each Lord's Day at 9:30 AM.
We have a well-furnished and staffed nursery for infants and toddlers.
We offer a Children's Church program each Lord's Day. During the worship service, the children are invited to join the pastor up front to receive a message especially for them. They are then dismissed to another room to experientially learn from the Scriptures.
We offer a Jr. Handbell & Praise Team, for children between 2nd grade and 7th grade. The team meets weekly for practice, as well as an occasional party.
We have an annual Vacation Bible School program, held each June, as well as various gatherings designed for children.
